How to use it
Open the email in Outlook, click Phishing Check on the ribbon, then Check this email.
What the score means
- 0-20 Low: no clear warning signs found.
- 21-50 Medium: something is unusual. Confirm with the sender using a phone number or address you already know.
- 51-80 High: likely phishing or a scam. Do not click, open or reply. Report it.
- 81-100 Critical: dangerous. Report it immediately and delete it.
Important
This is an automated aid. A low score does not guarantee an email is safe. If you are unsure, report it to IT.
If you already clicked a link, typed a password or opened an attachment from a suspicious email, contact IT straight away.
